Webcams are a valuable means of remote observing both on and off our planet. They are however, a
temperamental breed, appearing and disappearing, working and not working, depending upon bandwidth and general technical difficulties, as well as
sudden closure. In order to give you the viewer a flavour of what you might expect to see, the static images below were captured at a time when each link was live.
