Comet C/2007 N3 (Lulin).L................................................Page Updated 8th March 2009

Using a CCD attached to a 135mm lens, captured the image left of Comet Lulin passing a couple of degrees south of Saturn. Using Sidgwick method through a pair of 7x50 binoculars, I determined the magnitude as +5.4 using the star 69 Leonis.
Guide 8 Data :- Magnitude +7.3 Altitude 51.7°
Distance 0.64 au.
Orbital Period 49,435,959.05 years.
The comet was also sketched as seen through
a pair of 14x100 binoculars.
