Hi,
I have recently moved to the Isle of Mann from New Zealand and would like to come visit the observatory this weekend ( easter ) or any evening during the week.
If the skies are clear this weekend will the observatory be open?

Hi Mark. Welcome to our shores, and with luck our skies will not be too cloudy for you! The observatory is open to potential new members of the Society on the first Thursday of each month, as detailed on the Welcome page, so if you can make it along then, you will be very warmly received. The nature of our operation is such that we are unable to offer other public times. Hopefully, we'll see you at the May general meeting.

Fantastic website, I look forward to reading Uncle Daves Blog (IoMStargazer). If i lived in the IOM, id be at the meetings every week. We get to much light pollution in Lancaster!Well done!
